Skin Care Products

Dr. Lichten offers several lines of premium skin care products. The Obagi® line offers several specialized products to renew skin for a brighter and more youthful complexion. The Nia24® line is a series of products containing niacin to repair the signs of skin damage and help the skin protect itself from sun and environmental pollutants. Jane Iredale® is mineral makeup that colors, protects, and corrects damage to facial skin. Dr. Lichten believes that these product lines offer his patients advanced ways to maintain a healthy, youthful skin tone.

Obagi®

Central Ohio Plastic Surgery is proud to offer the Obagi Skin Care line. We carry all three of Obagi's product lines – Nu-Derm, C-Rx, and CLENZIderm.

Nu-Derm is our most popular line. Nu-Derm is unique because it uses prescription strength hydroquinone and Retin A to refresh your skin at the cellular level, leaving you with clean, clear skin. It also dramatically reduces freckles, age spots, and redness in your face. The ingredients in Nu-Derm firm and tighten your skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

C-Rx is a Vitamin C based skin care system. It is a lower intensity line than Nu-Derm. It is best suited for men and women who are concerned with hyperpigmentation (red and brown spots), but do not have particularly oily skin.

Dr. Lichten's CLENZIderm patients are people with moderate to severe acne. CLENZIderm's formula is specifically designed to penetrate the skin to push out the dirt and oil, dramatically reducing blemishes and acne. Many of Dr. Lichten's patients have tried Proactiv® and have discovered that even though it works initially, they are having much better long term success with CLENZIderm's unique formula.

NIA24®

Central Ohio Plastic Surgery also endorses the NIA24 product line. NIA24 is niacin based and is the only product approved by the FDA to actually reverse sun damage. NIA24 strengthens the outer layers of the skin, creating a stronger barrier against future sun damage.

Jane Iredale®

Latisse®

The patients in our office have had great success growing longer, darker and thicker eyelashes with Latisse.  Latisse is the first and only FDA approved prescription treatment for inadequate or not enough eyelashes.  Latisse works from the inside, so you’ll begin to see gradual changes in length, thickness and darkness.  Between 8 and 16 weeks, you’ll see the effects of Latisse -- and so will others.
