This 41-year-old woman from Rushville, Ohio had undergone gastric bypass surgery 2 years before consulting at the Lancaster office of Central Ohio Plastic Surgery. She had lost over 120 pounds after her surgery and was left with loose hanging skin and a ventral incisional hernia. After Dr. Lichten reviewed with her the different surgical options for her post-bariatric body contouring, she decided to have a fleur-de-lis abominoplasty with repair of her incisional hernia. She was happy with her results and finally felt "healed" from her gastric bypass. She found it much easier to fit into clothes after her surgery and now wants more surgery to address other areas of excess skin following her weight loss.
