This 35-year-old woman from near Columbus, Ohio consulted with Dr. Lichten regarding changes in her body and loose skin following gastric bypass surgery. She met with Dr. Lichten at Central Ohio Plastic Surgery 18 months following her gastric bypass. She lost over 100 lbs from her preoperative weight of 271 pounds an was left with loose hanging skin of her arms, breasts, abdomen and thighs. Her first priority was the loose skin of her arms or so called "bat wings." After her consultation, a full lenght brachioplasty was recommended by Dr. Lichten to remove this loose, hanging skin. She also had breast imlpants placed during this surgery with a planned breast lift for the future. She is happy with her results on her arms and cannot wait for her next surgery to address other areas of loose skin.
