This 30 year-old female who lives near Columbus, Ohio consulted with Dr. Lichten at Central Ohio Plastic Surgery about breast augmentation surgery to restore volume to her breasts that was lost after pregnancy. She was an avid runner and was concerned with her ability to train for and run marathons after surgery. She saw Dr. Lichten at the Lancaster, Ohio office. He recommended 340 cc, Mentor moderate plus, smooth walled saline breast implants. She had these implants placed through an inframammary incision into a pocket behind her pectoralis muscle without any complications. She described her recovery as uneventful and was able to return to full activity about 1 month after her surgery. She was thrilled with the results and has continued running without difficulty after her breast augmentation surgery.
