This 35-year-old woman who lives near Columbus, Ohio consulted with Dr. Lichten regarding changes in her body and loose skin following gastric bypass surgery. She met with Dr. Lichten at Central Ohio Plastic Surgery 18 months after her surgery. She lost over 100 lbs from her preoperative weight of 271 pounds and was left with loose hanging skin on her arms, breasts, abdomen and thighs. Her first priority was the loose skin of her arms or so called “bat wings.”
After her consultation, a full length brachioplasty was recommended by Dr. Lichten to remove this loose, hanging skin. She also had breast implants placed during this surgery with a planned breast lift for the future.
She is happy with her results on her arms and cannot wait for her next surgery to address other areas of loose skin.
