Covid 19 Update
At Central Ohio Plastic Surgery, we continue to monitor the national, state and local guidelines to create our protocols concerning COVID 19. As vaccination levels rise and restrictions ease, the safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. We are seeing patients both in person and virtually. You can also email Dr. Lichten directly at email@example.com.
We must continue to insist that all patients wear a face mask over your face and nose. As the Governor said: no mask, no service, no exception. Although Ohio has relaxed the rules for masking, the CDC guidance specifically mentions healthcare facilities as places where masking should continue. In addition, our Lancaster office is on the campus of Fairfield Medical Center, and the FMC Cancer Care Resource Center is in the lobby of our building. Out of respect and courtesy for those patients, we will still require masking in our offices.
We will also be taking your temperature when you present for your appointment. We are still using our enhanced cleaning protocols for both exam rooms and our reception area. Thank you for understanding that these steps will help protect all of us.
Please come into our office alone, if possible. If you must be accompanied by a caregiver or guardian, we ask that only 1 person be with you. That person must accompany you at all times, even in the exam room. We request that others wait in the car.
If you are sick the day of your appointment, we kindly ask that you reschedule. Also, if you have been exposed to someone who is positive or if you are awaiting the results of a COVID test, please call and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.
If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your primary care physician or dial 9-1-1.
This has been an incredibly challenging time for all of us. We appreciate the continued support of our patients in working with us to get to the other side of this pandemic. We look forward to welcoming you back. In the meantime, be safe and be well.
